A message for those who prefer dogma over medical attention

This is for Ray, Kent, Pat Robertson, the brainwashed zombies who killed Kara Neumann, and those of you who believe that healing faith is more important than medical science.

This is David Rice, a.k.a., Desertphile. David suddenly and mysteriously became ill, spiking a fever of 106 F. His friends believed that he was on his death bed. Thankfully, though, through a discipline that is foreign to all of you called medical science, the doctors who are helping to bring David back to health finally brought his temperature under control and gave him a good prognosis.

Looking for good astronomy freeware?

There are plenty of astronomical reference tools and software online that you can download absolutely free. But, the absolute best that I have used so far is an increasingly popular freeware called, Stellarium. Stellarium features realistic renderings of the night sky, real-time celestial motion, a catalog with 600,000 stars, and plenty of deep-sky objects. It's perfect for when you want to observe, but it's too freaking cold to go outside.
